Talking about the name change on 
AUGUST 11th 2010
Thank you all for your band name ideas (real & ridiculous) and your thoughts about the band. It means everything to us that people care about the band & music. Time to vote on your favorites. Go through the voting process & you'll get a free download of our song "I Can't Remember" as well as a video of a brand new song called "American Dreams" (later tonight) that we're recording just for the people who have participated in the band name change.
We'll announce when the new album will be released once we have our new name!

For all of you that have followed us and been with us on this strange journey over the past 4 years, we want you to know how much we truly appreciate you. Because you listen to the music & come to shows, we've been able to travel the country, write songs, and play music every day for our job. We've gone through a lot of changes (over the past year especially) and we made it to the other side.. slightly different though.
During our three month hiatus from the road we formed a new project in Nashville , wrote songs, & recorded a new L.P. with producer Dan Hannon at the helm. New guys have joined the band bringing new personalities & sounds with them. We have started something new & feel we need to dive head first into it without looking back.
We want YOU to NAME OUR BAND & be apart of the new project from the beginning.
We're not changing the band name of Hightide Blues, it's simply a fresh start with a new project. We want you to be involved with us from the ground up. Listen to the new music & send us over what you think it sounds like.
